Are we going back to Victorian Times

National minimum wage to rise by 20p an hour to £6.70

a government that is on your side Are you taking the piss?
So you rich elite lying, cheating, toss pots that live in a bubble get 10% pay rise taking you to £74,000 a year and we'll get an extra £1.60 a day yeeehooo
We are going backwards , zero hour contracts , crap pay. I'm going to start watching Poldark as it will be like that soon
Why don't you bring back slavery while you're at it
Think I'll have some mouldy bread and drink some water and toast to the Revolution.
Announcing the changes, Mr Cameron said: "At the heart of our long-term economic plan for Britain is a simple idea - that those who put in, should get out, that hard work is really rewarded, that the benefits of recovery are truly national.
"That's what today's announcement is all about, saying to hardworking taxpayers, this is a government that is on your side. It will mean more financial security for Britain's families and a better future for our country."

austerity - why not cut MP's expenditure

My Local MP's claimed £119,827.48 for payroll in 2013-2014

I'm assuming £52767.48 is for staff as each MP is allowed £67,060

he also claimed 2527.36 rental charges for a photocopier. You are not telling me the Local Council would be allowed to spend that money. While I'm nitpicking I doubt they would be allowed to pay £169.20 for one printer cartridge either, my local MP did

I think they should tell us what they do for all this money

Rubbing salt into the wound they are also allowed to work for another Company and IPSA have proposed an 11% payrise for after the election. Taking the **ss springs to mind.

Also Politicians need to lead by good example,

Anyway I'm going off on a tangent

In a nutshell I'm sure we can cut the MP's expenditure down, why should the poor always have to suffer??

A Suffolk councillor who is moving to the United States is refusing to stand down from his role, insisting he can do the job from almost 4,000 miles away.

I will Not Vote Unless We get A Say

5 years is a long time for lying, cheating, rich , lousy Politicians to act on our behalf without asking us what we think of Big Decisions that affect us all
Democracy ....my arse

So in a nutshell why can't we be asked our vote on important decisions

for example it would have been nice to be asked if we wanted to join the EU
Comments are very welcome
